It's National Safe Boating week and the Safe Boating Council wants you to remember some important safety practices as you start up your Summer activities. With so many beautiful lakes in the region, water activities are very popular. You can guarantee that your fun day at the lake stays that way, by following some important guidelines. The New York State Parks website also provides safety tips and information about boating safety courses.
