NFL player Michael Vick (left) has been released after serving 19 months in a Kansas Federal prison. Vick will serve the last two months of his 23-month sentence in home confinement at his home in Virginia.
Vick plead guilty to federal charges of heading and financing a dogfighting operation in his home in Virginia in August 2007.
Following his release, Vick plans to work with the Humane Society of the United States on an anti-dogfighting campaign. Vick will work on programs that prevent youth from getting involved in dogfighting and helping those already involved in the sport.
