CATSKILL, N.Y.- Travis Augustine is heading to prison for 25 years to life after being convicted of second-degree murder for the death of Martha Conners.
He wrestled with court officers when the verdict was read.

The 24-year-old Augustine killed and buried Conners and her dog last summer. Augustine shot her once in the head, however the cause of her death is unknown. Augustine also shot the dog in the head five times. Augustine was living in a trailer on Conners' Greene County property when the shootings occurred.

Last July, Conners' son discovered his mother's body buried near her home last July.

Later that month, Augustine was taken into custody while driving Connors' truck.
