Syracuse, NY -- The Onondaga County Health Department announced today that there are 16 new confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus within the county.
The new cases include 14 children and two adults. One of the adults was hospitalized and has recovered.
To date, there have been 69 confirmed cases in Onondaga County, including one death.
The Health Department will only approve testing of H1N1 for hospitalized patients.
