Peshawar, Pakistan— Taliban militants struck Kohat, a northwestern city in Pakistan today with a bomb that exploded in a bus terminal. The blast has killed at least one person with eight others injured.
The struggle continues with Taliban militants who also abducted more than 400 students, staff, and relatives from a boy’s school near Swat Valley in Pakistan.
Police say the abduction occurred 20 miles from Razmak Cadet College in North Waziristan. Militants took control by using rockets, grenades, and automatic weapons.
“17 people in one vehicle managed to escape and report the incident,” said police officer Matt Sarder.
Pakistan officials are in talks with the Taliban to release those abducted in the Northwestern Tribal Region of Pakistan.
