Sudden Frost Shocks People, Not Plants

Syracuse, NY - Summer is approaching, but June doesn't even feel like spring yet. Temperatures dropped below freezing last night, coating plants with out-of-season frost.
Frost is usually harmful to flowers and plants, but local nurseries said that annual plants may be strong enough to withstand the sudden cold.

Megan Sollecito, co-owner of Sollecito Landscaping Nurseries, said that frost in June is not that unusual in Syracuse and she is not too worried about it.
